Beth Gilbert

I am a instructor and science grant writer in the Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine. I provide support to faculty members in the development of grant proposals from research idea to final submission. I assist in all aspects of the grant writing process. Specifically, I aid researchers in developing their idea for grant application as well as hlep in determining the feasibilty of such research efforts. I work directly with researchers to devleop research premis and provide background and supportive information. In addition, I help to to develop establish specific aims and edits and revise grant components including abstracts, research plans, facilities documents, etc. for submission. I have a keen ability to position grant proposals to address different audiences reviewing the grant - including medical experts, general physicians, researchers, and/or advocates. I provide feedback on feasibiliyt of grant submisson approval. I have a proven track record of improving the success of receiving grant funding upon application.
