Carmen Session

Dr. Carmen L. Session is the Associate Dean and Chair in the Abraham S. Fischler College of Education and School of Criminal Justice at Nova Southeastern University. She provides strategic leadership for early learning, autism support initiatives, human services administration, teacher preparation, and FLDOE‑approved training programs across undergraduate, graduate, and non‑degree pathways. Dr. Session oversees the Baudhuin Preschool, the Access Plus college support program for students with autism, and clinical placement operations serving P–12 partners nationwide.

Her scholarly work examines human services leadership, autism intervention, technology integration, and student and faculty experiences in diverse learning environments. As an IRB Reviewer and member of NSU’s Academic Review Committee, she contributes to research integrity and academic governance. Dr. Session holds an Ed.D. in Human Services Administration and Organizational Leadership and has published, presented nationally, and contributed to funded research supporting children, families, and communities.
