I am an assistant professor at Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I am board certified in Family Medicine and Geriatrics. My present position involves ambulatory care at the Nova Southeastern University Family Medicine (NSU-FM) Clinic. I have hospital privileges at Broward General Medical Center (BGMC), Fort Lauderdale. I manage geriatric in-patients at Avante at Boca Raton – a long term care and rehabilitation facility at which I am an assistant medical director. I precept third and fourth year medical students and residents at the NSU-FM clinic and at BGMC. I lecture to first and second year medical students at Nova Southeastern University. I have been on several medical mission trips and I have been the medical director of two medical international outreach trips to Dominican Republic. I have organized and coordinated health fairs. I have also done some small research projects and did oral and poster presentations at national Family Medicine and Geriatrics symposia. Prior to migrating to USA in 2005 I was the medical director of a thriving Family Medicine practice in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
