Since joining the school's faculty in 1995, Dr. Mitropoulos has also served as its Director of Computing. He is a member of IEEE, UPE and ACM. Dr. Mitropoulos completed his doctorate at NSU, where his dissertation research focused on software engineering. His research interests include software engineering, programming languages, compiler theory, object-oriented software development, and aspect-oriented software development.
