Dr. James Howell provides leadership and oversight for the program. He chairs and serves as a senior member on the Advisory Committee and works closely with the project manager in accomplishing all objectives and outcomes.
As the former Florida secretary of health, Dr. Howell is instrumental in working with state and county health departments to promote and implement the planned CE activities.
He is a founding member of the Taskforce on Bioterrorism and Weapons of Mass Destruction Preparedness. He also serves as a faculty member for the Florida Department of Health Bioterrorism and School Readiness Project.
