Jia Borror is a Professor at Nova Southeastern University, Abraham S. Fischler College of Education, where she teaches courses in Curriculum, Teacher and Educational Leadership, Early Childhood, and Stem Education. She is involved in educational research, presents at national conferences, writes for professional journals, serves as a member of multiple program and curriculum committees, and collaborates on special projects. Before joining the faculty at Nova, Dr. Borror was a National Board Certified elementary school teacher in Broward County, FL, where she served in various leadership roles including: Team Leader, Title One Liaison, In-Service Facilitator, PLC Leader, New Educator Coach, School Advisory Committee member, and Faculty Council member.
