Melissa Bianchi is an Associate Professor of Writing and Media Studies at Nova Southeastern University. Her scholarship centers on ecomedia studies, focusing on the relationship between video games and environmental perspectives. Her recent work examines how digital worlds inform and complicate notions of ecological responsibility, sustainability, and the nonhuman. She is widely published in academic journals and  edited collections such as Green Letters, Ecozon@, Mediating Nature, Ecogames, and the Journal of Games Criticism.
