Paula Brochu, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Clinical and School Psychology at NSU's College of Psychology. Dr. Brochu is a social psychologist with interests in prejudice, stereotyping, discrimination, and stigma. Much of her research focuses on weight bias, or negative attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors directed to people who are perceived to carry excess weight. Dr. Brochu also examines the consequences of weight bias and stigma on health and well-being.
