Dr. Al-Ani joined the Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Allopathic Medicine in 2023 as an Associate Professor, Medical Education. Prior to his current position, Dr. Al-Ani served as Professor of Pathology at College of Pharmacy- Isra University, Amman, Jordan. He has also served as Professor of Pathology at College of Medicine- Al Nahrain University, Baghdad, Iraq.
Dr. Al-Ani received his MBChB. (M.D.), M.Sc. Path. and F.I.C.M.S. (=PhD) Path. degrees from Baghdad University, Baghdad, Iraq.
Dr. Al-Ani has chaired many courses and has taught different topics of Basic and Clinical Sciences using various pedagogies. His teaching experience included not only MD programs but also PharmD, M.Sc. and PhD programs. He has also supervised Master of Science theses, Master of Pharmacy students and PhD Medical students and trained Clinical Pathology and Hematopathology candidates. Dr. Al-Ani has received several awards & appreciations for his Teaching Excellence .
Dr. Al-Ani has scholarly presentations and more than 46 publications in the fields of basic and clinical sciences, and he is an active member of several relevant professional groups and associations.
