Sashah Damier, EdD, MBA has extensive clinical and research operations expertise, with progressive healthcare experience in areas spanning EDC platform management, clinical trial operations, grant and federal funding administration, revenue cycle oversight, finance, healthcare services, and program management. Dr. Damier is an assistant professor and REDCap support specialist at Nova Southeastern University's Institute for Neuro-Immune Medicine (INIM), and Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine. In this role, she specializes in the REDCap Electronic Data Capture system, focusing on creating and educating teams on standardized practices to optimize the university’s research database in design and management. She supports research planning and implementation, instrument development, data collection, analysis, and quality control. She educates and collaborates with students, administration, faculty, and staff to analyze and optimize database performance, ensuring stability, scalability, and integration of quality data architectures. Dr. Damier previously served as a Regional Medical Operations Program Manager for Cleveland Clinic Florida. She also held various roles in federally funded grant projects, including program manager, grant administrator, fiscal officer, and financial coordinator, for projects funded by NIH, NIEHS, HRSA, and OSHA. Dr. Damier holds a Doctor of Education (EdD) with a concentration in Human Services Administration from Nova Southeastern University (NSU) Florida, where her dissertation focused on patient healthcare literacy and the decision-making process of minority women. She also has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Finance from NSU Florida and a bachelor’s degree in health service administration from Florida International University. She is passionate about creating tools and strategies that enhance community health, literacy, and safety while fostering effective and meaningful relationships within the communities she serves.
