Dr. Stefanie Carter is an associate professor and Interim Assistant Dean for Faculty Affairs and Faculty Development at the College of Allopathic Medicine. Dr Carter has 20 years working in higher education at NSU in several roles. She has proven expertise in curriculum development, teaching students, faculty affairs, organizing faculty development programs, training faculty, and in the application of new technology.
Dr. Carter’s educational background includes bachelor's degree in business administration and minors in leadership and management, master’s degree in leadership, and a doctoral degree in education with dual concentrations in organizational leadership and instructional technology. She has completed the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) Leadership certificate fellowship 12-month program and received an EQ-i 2.0®/EQ 360 certification from Multi-Health Systems Inc. Dr. Carter further was nominated by her peers and received the NSU MD Team Collaboration Award.
