Dr. Venetia Bennett is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Couple and Family Therapy at Nova Southeastern University, in sunny South Florida, since June 2023. Dr. Bennett earned her masters and doctoral degrees from Nova Southeastern University. While in her doctoral program, Dr. Bennett completed a certificate in Medical Family Therapy. She has been licensed in the state of Florida since 2013 and completed the necessary requirements to receive the designation of American Association for Marriage Family Therapy AAMFT-approved supervisor. Teaching in higher education has been a lifelong goal and passion of Dr. Bennett.
