Abstract

<p> The poster outlines the applied dissertation as it addresses the cultural and linguistic knowledge of speech-language pathologists when evaluating and treating Latinx clients, as well as, identifies ecological factors that impact coordination and collaboration of services in Latinx clients with communication disorders. <br/> <br/> Learner Outcome(s): <ul> <li> Apply the Ecological Systems Theory into the assessment and intervention in speech-language pathology. </li> <li> Integrate the Ecological Systems Theory and Critical Race Theory during the evaluation and intervention process for Latinx clients. </li> <li> Assess the values and importance of the theoretical frameworks and its application in speech-language pathology. </li> </ul></p>
