Abstract
This chapter provides an overview of how psychotherapists write to a wide audience through articles and grant applications. The chapter begins by providing guidelines on how to think about preparing to write a journal article, ideas for writing the article, and tips when thinking about what journal to submit the article to. The second part of the chapter focuses on grant writing. Those clinicians who are engaging in research may need funding to be able to complete the project they want in the way they want to. When this happens, they will need to write a grant and submit it to a grant funder. The chapter provides guidelines for structuring a grant proposal.
