Abstract
The two authors of this article dialogue about what they and the ten contributors to this special issue of JST think about therapists' relationships with their clients. Touching on issues of intentionality, empathy, and violence, the authors highlight some of the connections and points of departure among them and the clinicians, theorists, and teachers who contributed to this collection of articles.
