Breaking Barriers, Building Bridges: Cultivating Belonging for Black Students

The lack of representation and belonging among Black OT students often results in systemic inequities. Considering the current social and racial climate, educators must be aware of the barriers faced by Black students. This session will focus on reflective analysis of current practices to allow attendees the opportunity to collaborate on exploring barriers, building bridges, and developing strategies to cultivate a sense of belonging for Black students, which will positively impact all students.
