Abstract
This article was submitted as a photo quiz titled " Lower extremity ulcers in a patient with renal failure. Two pictures of the lesions were submitted. The history was that a 59 year old female patient developed multiple painful ulcers on her lower extremities and buttocks while hospitalized for diverticulitis. The multiple choice answers included tophaceous gout, vibrio vulnificus infection, brown recluse spider bite, osteoma cutis and calciphylaxis.
