Discrimination of Brain-Damaged Schizophrenics from Non-Brain-Damaged Schizophrenics: Value of the Wiggins MMPI Content Scales.

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

Wiggins MMPI Content Scales failed to discriminate between 20 brain-damaged and 20 non-brain-damaged male schizophrenics (mean age 31 yrs); schizophrenia was determined by the Luria-Nebraska Neuropsychological Battery. Results are discussed in terms of explanations of schizophrenia that describe it as a functional disorder or as a group of functional or organic disorders with a similar behavioral manifestation.
