Dispelling the Myths Surrounding Mental Health

Abstract

Judith McKay, J.D., Ph.D., Associate Professor in NSU’s College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CAHSS) was part of a panel at a Public Forum hosted by the National Alliance for Mental Health (NAMI) Broward. The forum was held in the evening on March 26, 2018, at the Northwest Regional Library in Coral Springs. The topic was “Dispelling the Myths Surrounding Mental Health.” McKay spoke about the implications for conflict and for conflict resolution in families with a mentally ill family member. Another NSU faculty member, Jose Rey, Pharm.D. Associate Professor in NSU’s College of Pharmacy was also on the panel.
