The identification of the issues and concerns of distance learners in distance education are discussed. The issues are due to the conversion of a traditional classroom into a course taught through CD-ROM or internet. The issues identified was interaction with a instructor and also with classmates. Respondent responses show that the students best suited for a distance education are the ones who are self-directed and self-motivated. A possible concern of distance learners is that almost 90 percent of the respondents are male and all the respondents are technology students.
