Abstract


When a gay New Jersey man tried to join eHarmony in 2005 he discovered the drop down menu did not provide a "man seeking man" option.' Believing that rejecting applicants based on sexual orientation violated the state's Law Against Discrimination (LAD),Eric McKinley filed a complaint with the Division on Civil Rights (DCR).
