Abstract
The article presents information on D. Kirkpatrick's evaluation approach to distance education. According to the author, the evaluation procedures of Kirkpatrick have been used in evaluating classroom training and teaching. His approach produces useful information for the trainor and acquires answers to frequently asked questions about the training such as the reaction and satisfaction of training participants. Information on determining the return on investment of several educational organizations that adopt distance education and e-learning is also presented.
