Abstract

In this roundtable, the presenters examine the roles of a faculty member compared to an administrator in counselor education. Regardless of initial career objectives, all counselor educators must understand administrative functions related to successful program outcomes. Attendees will also explore arguments for and against forging an administrative career path in counselor education. Resources for faculty transitioning to administrative positions will be discussed.
