    Abstract

First there was telecommuting, working from home via computer; soon there was online shopping; and finally there was online learning. Bit by bit, people became accustomed to staying home and having requirements and services come to them. As online learning grew, the institutions that supplied the courses realized that going to class was only a small part of the educational process. From time to time, we examine different aspects of instructional delivery systems, online and in person. This editorial is about mentoring.
