Abstract
Cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI) are both widespread, evidencebased clinical practices. MI addresses ambivalence and enhances motivation to change, whereas CBT focuses on implementing change. In this session, attendees will learn how MI and CBT can be used Education Session Descriptions [ 59 ] synergistically to improve client SATURDAY outcomes with diverse populations and various presenting problems. Case examples will be provided to illustrate the MI+CBT integration
