Abstract
You felt like you weren't closing your eyes or lifting your hands, no? Nor did you feel like you were "making" your hand numb or purposely losing track of time. You were right: "you" weren't doing these things--or, at least, your "i" wasn't. With your "i" not cutting itself off from everything, it couldn't take ownership of and responsibility for the movements of your body or the changes in sensation and time orientation.
