Abstract
With the steady growth of the Hispanic population across the United States, Spanish language educators of all levels are under increased pressure to teach specialized courses for the professions. The presenter will share ideas on how to incorporate the terminology, as well as cultural knowledge, Spanish language students will need in future careers in business, law and medicine, for example. The presenter will discuss available resources, as well as share assignments designed to strengthen students' language skills, while simultaneously honing into specialized topics.
