Abstract
This chapter covers general guidelines, as well as guidelines for the planning and execution phases of music transcription projects. The first section provides guidelines for client communication, project scope and timeline, and terms and conditions. The second section then covers several aspects of project planning through initial assessments, establishing terms with clients, and project setup. Finally, the third section discusses project execution including task prioritization, delivery, and revisions. The section activities help learners identify areas of development and frame projects with an emphasis on clarity and communication.
