Abstract
School administrators and teachers undergo strenuous learning processes before they are entrusted with the education of our young. When non-school people and organizations partner with schools, even with the best and most lofty intentions, many begin to prescribe learning content and methodology. A decade-long synopsis of partnership activities with schools, not necessarily technology-based, is provided. Discussion follows about planning for quality learning. Ultimately, a framework to monitor the partnership process is presented. Keywords: consortia building, school/industry partnerships, monitoring partnership activity.
