Abstract

This is the first casebook to detail the kind of psychological interventions applied to the spectrum of the developmentally and physically disabled. Following an overview of the diagnostic and medical considerations, contributors examine fourteen major developmental and physical disabilities, including autism, chronic pain, epilepsy, mental retardation and hearing impairment. Each chapter follows an identical outline to enable the reader to make cross-case comparisons with ease.
