Abstract
“Please put on your own oxygen mask before assisting others”. If you have ever flown on a plane, you have likely heard this message. It is a well-known saying but often difficult to implement. This clinical case study shows how relational aspects of the client’s life impacted her ability to put herself first. Issues of safety in her relationship made this even more difficult. Basic MRI interventions are discussed and applied with the client.
