The Critical Thinking Component Regarding How Mass Media Increases Our Stress Levels

Research output: Contribution to conferencePresentation

Abstract

This presentation is based on the topic of how the brain can be manipulated by outside sources, such as media, pundits, and personal/professional conversations. The presenters will give additional information in the area of critical thinking rather than what the book chapter revealed. Develop your own skills as a critical thinker based upon the 24/7 coverage of media bias. Do not become manipulated, have your own mind by continuously asking questions while making your own evaluations. This presentation was developed on the work of a book chapter by Dr. David B. Ross, Dr. Richard Louis, and Dr. Melissa T. Sasso titled The Increase of How Mass Media Coverage Manipulates Our Minds .
