The ongoing global climate crisis has spawned considerable litigation in the United States. One of the more innovative and important climate-related lawsuits is Juliana v United States, a civil action brought in a federal court by 21 individual young people, a non-profit environmental non-governmental organisation and a 'representative of future generations'.
