The purpose of this Capstone experience was to gain clinical skills for Hippotherapy and to develop a new program for a nonprofit organization to that allows people with disabilities an opportunity to acquire work or life skills while performing equine-related tasks, under the supervision of an occupational therapist. The student provided evidence-based research and formally conducted all of the necessary materials to initiate the program, however due to Covid-19, the student was unable to employ said program.
