Abstract

The process of learning is influenced by internal and external factors. One of the most powerful factors is modeling. Researchers agree that learning through modeling is a consistent and powerful tool by which students and adults learn. The practice of instructional coaching is growing in the educational field with students, teachers, and leaders. This strategic research project is designed to provide a map of how to use peer coaching as a catalyst for change that helps schools become successful given its ease of implementation and its long-reaching effect into other realms of the educational environment such as school culture, student academics, collegiality, and overall school success.
